EXHIBITION
A ALTURA DO OLHAR

Convento dos Cardaes – Lisbon – 2015

The Height of the Gaze is a photographic exhibition that explores architectural detail as a territory of memory and permanence. Focusing on fragments of tiles, walls, and surfaces marked by time, the work shifts attention from the building as a whole to the intimate experience of looking.

By moving closer to textures, cracks, and ornamental patterns, the series reveals historical layers and anonymous gestures embedded in material surfaces. The Height of the Gaze invites a quiet, attentive observation, encouraging viewers to reconsider everyday heritage from the scale of the body and the immediacy of proximity.
